Broccoli | Waltham 29

Latin name: Brassica oleracea var. italica

Seed: Organic, Non-GMO, Heirloom

Texture: Soft

Taste: Mild, fresh broccoli or cabbage flavor

Description: A hardy and substantial microgreen that has a deliciously mild, fresh broccoli or cabbage flavor and makes a great garnish and addition to any microgreens salad.

Nutrients: Calcium, iron, phosphorus, Sulforaphane

Kohlrabi | Purple Vienna

Latin name: Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes

Seed: Organic, Non-GMO, Heirloom

Texture: Soft

Taste: Strong, fresh broccoli & cabbage

Description: Kohlrabi microgreens are prized not only for their diversity in cooking applications, but also because they are packed with nutrients and minerals. They are similar in texture to broccoli microgreens, but they have a milder, sweeter flavor. The perfect addition to slaws and salads, their vibrant purple color adds delicious visual appeal to any dish!

Mustard | Spicy Oriental

Latin name: Brassica juncea

Seed: Organic, Non-GMO, Heirloom

Texture: Soft

Taste: Spicy, bold mustard flavor

Description: A great mustard for microgreens, this has a rather sharp flavor that brings a great zing to sandwiches and salads. A little milder when grown on to adult green size. The flavor of this mustard microgreen is astounding and strong like wasabi.

Radish | China Rose

Latin name: Raphanus sativus

Seed: Organic, Non-GMO, Heirloom

Texture: Crunchy & succulent

Taste: Spicy, radish flavor with hints of floral & sweetness

Description: Great in any microgreen or full-sized salad. Use in any dish in place of sliced radish.

-Anti-inflammatory, which reduces swelling and pain in the body
-Natural diuretic, which can aid in reducing blood pressure
-Helps detoxify and cleanse the body

Pea | Speckled

Latin name: Pisum sativum

Texture: Crunchy & succulent

Taste: Mild, fresh sweet pea flavor

Description: Pea sprouts are great in salads and can be eaten shortly after they “pop” or have grown their first or second set of true leaves.
